Dear Auckland Council,
At Tomarata School the paper collectors are not taking our recycle when we put it out on the roadside. Our school does not like it. We have lots of paper to recycle.
We are a Waste wise school. We have a contract with Auckland Council to reduce the amount of rubbish we send to the landfill. We have eight paper bins because we have 6 classrooms and 2 offices.
We have about 130 kids at our school. We have to bundle up our paper. Why don’t the paper collectors take our paper away?
We will have to put it in the landfill if the recycle truck does not pick up all our paper. We don’t want to do that because we want to look after our environment.
Please help us. We need the recycle truck to pick our paper up. We don’t like it left on the roadside.
