Dear Auckland Council
The recycle truck hasn’t been picking up all our recycle. They think it’s too much and our recycle has been just sitting there. Now they only pick up three bundles of our recycle each pick up day.
We’re a waste wise school. We have signed a contract with the Auckland Council and we promised to reduce our waste. We try not to have any unnecessary waste like paper in the landfill.
Our recycle should be different to houses because we have lots more people in our school and we have lots of recycle. When you don’t pick up our recycle all the paper and plastic bags blow everywhere. We want to have a clean environment.
We think that you should let us recycle all our paper so it doesn’t go to the landfill. Our school is not happy with you. We need you to help us to help New Zealand.
