Well done Tomarata. All the phone calls and letters have made a difference. We might not have changed the world but maybe we have changed the messy rubbish dump on the corner of Whangaripo Valley Road and Wayby Valley Road. We will be watching carefully to see if the situation at the corner improves. The notices with details about rubbish drop offs and pick ups have been removed. The people living on Tomarata Valley Road and Wayby Valley Road will now be included in an official rubbish service. This should make a huge difference. We are hoping that the problem does not shift to the corner of School Road and Mangawhai Road so we will be watching to ensure it doesn’t.
