It seems that despite the fact that there are new signs on the corner of Whangaripo Valley Road and Tomarata Valley Road informing people clearly it is no longer a drop off site for rubbish some people are determined to ignore them. It would be great if people in the community became very observant around this area and took note if they see cars stopping on the corner. The Council sign warns people they are liable to receive a $400 fine if found leaving rubbish there. We hope they will follow up and check the rubbish to see if it helps to find the offenders. Rhianna and Nadia notice the problem more than others because they live adjacent to the site. They are not impressed to see rubbish dropped there so soon after the signs appeared. They were erected on Friday and already two days later there is a pile of rubbish.
