Our Calendar Art

We are working to create our calendars for next term and are using the ocean as our theme. We have had great fun investigating ways to use dye, water, crayons, detergent and straws in different ways. After making crayon rubbings on our paper we used dye in a variety of ways to make a range of patterns and effects on the crayon. We are thinking about how we can use these effects to make our ocean scenes. Next week we will use our ideas to plan how to create our pictures.
