There are now some newly qualified bikers at school. Congratulations to the Room 5 and 6 students who qualified by passing their written bikewise test and their practical bikewise test. They all received a certificate from Constable Watts. To achieve a pass, bikers had to bike around the track and carry out all the safe practices they had learnt. Looking behind before pulling out into the traffic, signalling when turning, signalling when slowing down and stopping and giving way at the right times were some of the things Constable Watt was looking for. They also needed to show good balance by riding through cones.
