Finding out about communication and the changes that have occurred over the last 150 years was the reason we visited MOTAT. Some of the old phones looked familiar and we had great fun dialing phones that are no longer used.

When I was about your age I remember we had a phone just like the one Phoebe was using, but ours was grey. Because it was 2 shades (dark grey and light grey) I remember my mother saying proudly that it was ‘two-tone grey’! Our phone number was only 5 numbers long, and I still remember it! (21 009) How’s that for an old Principal?
