Parcels sent to soldiers from home

We read lots of letters written by soldiers to their families at home. We learnt that soldiers really loved receiving a parcel from home. We made up parcels containing items we thought they would appreciate. Our boxes contained items like soap, chocolate, biscuits, sewing kits, socks, scarves, plasters, letters, writing paper and photos.
