Yesterday Room 4 of Tomarata School made pumpkin and kumera soup. If we had finished our work we could go and prepare the soup. I was one of the people. It was a wet and windy but it wasn’t raining. I had to peel a pumpkin. First, I had to take out the seeds. Secondly, I had to peel the skin with a sharp knife. I felt a few cuts with the knife. Next I had to cut the pumpkin. I tried using different methods but it took too long. We had to put the slices into a big pot. While we were cutting the pumpkin, some onions arrived. After I finished I had some kumera to peel. I noticed that I had a cut on my naughty finger. Next I went back to class.
After morning tea Room 4 had to write the recipe about the soup. It included the ingredients and the instructions. If we were finished, we could draw a picture about what the soup would look like.
Soon the soup was ready. I completely forgot that I liked pumpkin soup. Next I tried some. The soup burnt my teeth.
I didn’t really like it. Because I put chicken salt all over it. YUCK!
🙁
You should of tried it William. It was yum. LOL.
I didn’t like the pumpkin soup! 🙁
Oh, William, you don’t get it do you? It was room 4’s pumpkin soup, not yours.
