So proud of my students. We had an amazing day at Wero Whitewater Park. Water safety, rafting and also the opportunity to jump into the rapids and float, (feet first – toes & nose up), along the river. The photos don’t really do justice to the whitewater! The faces, expressions and conversations from the kids reflected their efforts and their achievement! #youguysrock!
Big thank you to the awesome staff at Wero, also GAAAP, (Greater Auckland Aquatic Action Plan), for funding this for the kids, and also to my wonderful parent helpers on the day.
Awesome trip thanks Mrs Stevens
Loved the rafting and swimming
It was a nice day out and the bus was very nice
wow that looks like so much fun it is a shame i could’nt come ;(
I agree Phoebe. We missed you!
‘WhiteWater Rafting’ was soooooo fun, I really enjoyed it when we got to stand up. Also surfing up the waterfall thingy was really fun it was like taking a bath. As my group already knows I was the one person who kept leaning out of the boat backwards and acting drunk…(only on the lake bit).
It was fun and I know that everyone enjoyed it and that if you go there you will have fun too.
