Des Hunt: Author Visit

We were so lucky to have  a visit from Des Hunt on Friday.  We learned that he wrote a “Back Story” before he wrote his novels.  That is when he writes about the background of the story for himself so he knows how to get on with the main story.  We loved his science activities where he used chemistry and physics to demonstrate how he writes his stories.  We got a surprise when the balloon popped.  Mrs Murphy got such a surprise she dropped her phone!  Koen was prepared- he removed his hearing aid.  We can’t wait to read more of his books because they all sound so exciting.
