We had an awesome time at MOTAT last Thursday. We loved the old time village and putting our feet and hands in the stocks. I hope nobody throws rotten fruit at me!! The old video games were so much fun too. The technology was very different in the past compared to now. We loved playing on the slides, seat pulleys and in the sensory dome. Finn made a robot with his Dad with the foam pieces. The tram was so much fun. We traveled all the way past the Zoo and back. There was also a huge round screen and you could take your picture and it would appear on the screen in hundreds of tiny squares. That was very cool. Melissa was our Education leader. She showed us some fantastic ‘Kiwiana’ things that we could play with. There was a Maori drill, chatter rings, dress ups, buzzy bees, piupius and pois. We could also sign our names on the paper with a feather quill.

The whole day was great. We were all pretty tired on the way home. We would recommend that you go to MOTAT as there are so many cool things there to do and see. Ka kite anō
