The 2013 Wastewise Audit was carried out in Week 4. We have compared the results with those we gathered at the same time last year and are pleased to see that we have improved. The total waste generated is less than half it was last year. The waste that was going to landfill that could have been diverted to recycling is now only a third of what it was last year. Next year we hope to achieve even better results because we now have compost bins that can be used for our paper towels and other organic rubbish.
