Have you ever smelled summer?
Sure you have,
The salt water washing up onto my body in the surf and the oily smell of fish and chips wafting out of the shops,
Do you remember that time
At Picnic Bay when it was high tide we had to go up to
shoulder high water just to get to our normal spot
That was summer

We went to the beach at 10am and got a waffle cone with strawberry ice cream, and it was so yummy,
That was summer
Remember that time
When I was bouncing on the trampoline and Finn shot a jet of water at my back with a water gun, and it gave me a big fright,
That was summer.
Remember that time when
Dad put the tray for the BBQ on the ground when it was still burning hot and I got black lines all over my foot,
That was summer.
