We went to the museum and we made lei necklaces. First we had to put on one flower and two straws. All together we had to put on eight flowers, and after that we had to get a crayon and rub it on a patterned board to make a tapa cloth.
Then we went to the kai room. After morning tea we split into groups.Then we went to the dinosaurs and we saw Joan Wiffins on the tv. She accidently found a fossil on the ground and didn’t know what it was! Then she went to her friend who told her what it was. Joan is famous in New Zealand.
And we saw a t rex skeleton – it was scary! And we saw a giant fossil shell.It was over a one hundred years old. We were tired at the end of the day, but it was awesome!
